Outside Stage
Join D.C. VGM Jams and the MAGFest Jam Clinic for video game music jams in the afternoon at the outside stage! Drums, percussion, keyboards, microphones, and guitar/bass amps will be provided. Bring your instrument of choice and join in the fun! All skill levels are welcome, and leadsheets will be available for the jams.
We’ll also have VGM bands in the evening:
MAGLabs is pleased to welcome two local acts for our Spring event! First up is a little bit of a big (deal) band, it's the good vibes and funky horns of our headliner, Quick Save! Catch them breaking down some jazzy versions of some of your favorites, and deep cut VGM tracks alike.
The BGSO Flute Choir is a VGM ensemble made up entirely of members of the flute family of instruments. They specialize in chamber arrangements of video game tunes, including well-known favorites and deep cuts alike. They were the first small ensemble to branch out of the Baltimore Gamer Symphony Orchestra, and feature primarily members of their host ensemble. As a smaller subset of the orchestra, they function as a traveling ensemble and have played multiple venues including Belvedere at MAGFest, VGM Con, an opening show for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and a recurring series at Kennedy Krieger Children's Hospital. Tune in for a flootiful experience!
