Free Play Crafts

All materials provided, Try all the new things!

Free-play crafts will be in the taproom and under the tent outside. We’ll have all the tools and materials to try something new or go back to your favorite childhood hobby, all free-of-charge! If you don’t know how to get started, our red-aproned volunteers will be happy to help you get started!

Projects you can try:

• Fiber Arts - Knitting, Crochet, Pom-Pom Pals

• Friendship and Kandi bracelets

• 3D Papercrafts

• Perler Beads

• Make your own MAGopoly!

  • All day, we’ll be working together to make MAGFest Monopoly!

Guided Workshops

Hands-on classes with experienced teachers where you can learn to make a new project from start-to-finish.

• Make a Leather Pet Collar

  • Make and decorate a collar for your dog, cat, or other pet or a bracelet for yourself out of real leather!

Workshop Sign-up sheets will be at the Help Desk in the Taproom 2 hours before the workshop starts. Workshops will be limited to 25 seats. Once you’ve signed up, please be at the workshop room 10 minutes before the class starts.
